Antirrhinum rothmaleri

New search

Overview

Very similar to the widespread Antirrhinum braun-blanquetii, from which it is mostly distinguished by its consistently smaller flowers (< 30 mm) and from which it has presumably evolved in response to the very selective conditions imposed by the ultramafic outcrops of NE Portugal [see Annales Botanici Fennici 48(5):409-421 (2012)].
