Overview

The presence in the ecoregion of this species (associated to birch stands and differing from the general M. pratense by the smaller, more deeply yellow flowers, with shorter tube and downwards bent lower lip) is attested only by a herbarium specimen collected around 1917 by father B. Merino. Confirmatory discoveries would be very welcome.
