Floristic Composition

  • Otantho maritimi-Ammophiletum australis

Relations with other habitat types

These grasslands are taller and denser than those in N131, which they end up replacing after a sufficiently long period without storm disturbances, thus typically occupying a more inland position. The rhizomes and roots of Ammophila contribute to the fixation of sand and, eventually, to the build-up of soils and the installation of N15x.
